Holiday Rewind...

I had wanted to take Christmas photos of Canaan just as the others had their "first" Christmas photos done. I wasn't able to squeeze it in in December but decided I could make it happen anyway on my timing! So here it is! This is what he wore for Christmas!

A snowy day

Yesterday we got over six inches of snow and everything was closed and the roads were not worth driving on.

Fort time.

 And reading books.

Our Princess is 3!!!

I wanted to title this post "We survived a Princess Party".

There were 10 kids ages 1-5, a bouncy castle, a game, gifts, and cupcakes.

It was fun and crazy at the same time.

Ohana named the guest list and theme.

 Tape the crown on the princess!

Ohana you are one of a kind!

You are so sweet and funny.

You delight in being with people.

You still want "Uppies" everyday.

You are growing up yet still have such a wonderful innocence. 

You are so smart and love to sing and dance.

You are creative and usually too busy to sleep much.

You love being a girl yet play construction and super hero and cars with your big brother daily.

You are an amazing blessing to our family!!!

We love you SO much!!

Canaan is 8 months... and much more!!!

January was also the 8 month mark for Canaan.

You are more handsome and smarter than ever!

You get better and better at sitting up and want to be in the action!

The dog always makes you smile and laugh.

You eat solid food now but it makes you very constipated.

Avocado was your first food, followed by egg yolk and sweet potato.

So far, pears are your fave!

No teeth yet, but maybe soon.

You are getting the cutest chunky legs. I just love to squeeze them!

Everyone that meets you notices your big brown eyes first, and then your good nature.

You LOVE riding in the back pack.

You are very content most of the time.

You almost never fuss if mommy is holding you.

You still wake in the night to eat, but there was a few nights you did not and that was exciting.

I cherish the wonderful baby you are!!!

January Came and Went... but it was fun!

Wow it's February and I haven't blogged for January...

Guess I won't go pro for blogging any time soon.

We went to California to have Christmas with my side of the family...

The kids could barely contain themselves with excitement and we could barely contain all the wonderful gifts they were showered with!

We said farewell to our wonderful friends the Jeds... why didn't we take a photo with them? Fail!

They have been our beach destination for the past 7 years when we visit... how can we replace that?

There was lots of cousin time!

And last, but definitely not least, celebrating my Mom's birthday time!

The kids cannot wait to go back!!! I could be persuaded too!
