Canaan is 5 months!

What a joy to capture your expressions as you grow!

We can have some rough nights, but then in the morning when I see you, I cannot help but smile and be excited to have a new day with you.

 You have those wonderful dark and expressive eyes.

 Back to blowing bubbles and talking up a storm.

 You can sit in the johnny jumper... it's SO cute to see you move your feet and move it around.

 You notice your hands a lot and are getting really good at grabbing for your baby toys.

Just wait until people see your Halloween costume tomorrow... you will confirm how incredibly adorable you are!

Baby Pumpkin Head...

We had our first garden this past summer and also grew these pumpkins!

They are perfect and we are excited to carve them soon but not before this impromptu photo shoot with Canaan... the other kids wouldn't take pictures with the pumpkins.

A week ago...

Canaan and I had an unexpected trip to CA for my uncle's funeral...

We stayed a whole week.

Canaan is 4 months!

You are such a delight!

You giggle now.

You are so aware of others and catch their interest with your wonderful big eyes.

 You like to hang out with your brother and sister and being the third baby, you like TV

a little too much.

You are just starting to fit into 3-6 month clothes.

Your favorite thing is being held- ok with me!

You will sleep on either daddy or I if we are out doing things.

You still do not like the car seat very much but you are screaming less when you have to be in there.
