Smiling where???

Today we had Rigel's 2 month visit at the doctor's office. Being the proud parents we are, of course we had the camera. So we captured the cute gown and then... Rigel was smiling so good we finally got the shot at the doctor's office! He is doing well, 34% for weight and 43% for height. He is still perfect. He got one shot with barely a cry after. Daddy had to leave the room for the shot due to his hatred of needles and people messing with his boy;-)

My Doggie

Here is just a note to say hi to all. I was just chillin' with my doggie' this morning. I tried to hang with Timber too but he is more like a grumpy old man. He likes to just sit off to the side and watch the show and comment, instead of participating. Piper has to be in the show. She has to have her nose all up in my business. But I know that both love me so I am good. What a great day.

Look what I did!

As Rigel is so alert and observant Boyd had the idea that we should hang something above the changing table. So I (Dena)had an idea and it came out great! The first time Rigel saw his new mobile, he smiled at it. He is in awe of these new friends hanging above him. It makes changing diapers even more fun!

Oh we caught a little smile finally! He does bigger ones than this too!

Sleep and Smiling!

I decided to give my parents the gift of sleep! You guessed it, I am sleeping through the night at just 6 weeks old. I think I like it and Mommy really loves me doing it! My burrito wrap is the best way I sleep. I also started to smile for real, but I don't like smiling for cameras yet. I smile at mommy and daddy, my friends on my bouncy seat, my friends on my car seat and sometimes the freinds I see on my blankets that cover me from the sun. I also love my baths too especially when mommy makes me all snuggy when I get out of the water. That's the best! I'm liking it around here more and more! Look how I've grown!

Yep our little bug is growing! He is just over 9lbs now and today as I met a friend for lunch, he barely fit into the outfit we brought him home in just 6 short weeks ago. We are loving getting to know our little Rigel and cherish each moment with him. He is on the verge of his first smile too! He constantly makes us laugh with his many faces and noises. We generally love his cry since it sound like him saying... "anay". It warms my heart and breaks my heart when I cannot comfort him. He is the jem of my heart. We are so blessed with this addition to our family!
