Canaan is 2 months!

Some facts about being 2 months old:

I have fed you over 300 times.

We have changed over 600 diapers already.

We have not slept through the night in over 60 days.

You are long and strong!

 You smile!!!

And have a dimple on your right cheek just like your big brother!

You smile the most for mommy. That makes me pretty happy.

 You like the swing now and stare at the little birds over your head until you cannot keep your eyes open anymore.

 You coo more than ever and we all imitate you because it is so cool!

 I love your little fists.

You make lots of bubbles and stick out your tongue all the time.

What a fun 2 months it has been Canaan.

It will be great seeing what is next!

Summa time!!!

Most summers I have a mental list of what would be fun to do. Concerts in the park, picnics, day trips to the mountains, making ice cream and weekend camping.

I'm definitely not at the point of writing it down and making it pretty as some bloggers do.

Life with 3 little ones makes me realize my summer list is a fun dream in my head.

Maybe in 5 years I can write it down, make it pretty and check things off the summer to do list.

Until then, here is some of our summer!

 No more nap means afternoon quiet time. Listening to music or books on CD. He went to 3 different VBS's too and loved each one.

 I think Canaan looks more like Rigel.

 She would have posed with her brother all day.

 Baby summer hat. A little big still.

 My handsome boy smiles a lot. Just hard to catch with my camera.

 Splash park fun.

We have also been to the pool at our gym. Sadly, we have to cancel our membership but hope to rejoin just for the summer next year.

 They had a great time despite their expressions.

 Quality time with Canaan. A daily ritual.

 She loves to swoon over him.

Pumpkins are growing!

No too shabby for life with the littles. No I'm still not getting much sleep. Having 3 is harder than most people say. We still have a few things up our sleeves for the rest of summer. 

Grateful we are healthy and together! No list can capture than anyway!!!!!

Canaan is 1 month

It's been a month (couple days ago) my dear Canaan and you are becoming so strong and smart.

 I will try hard to take your photo though you are the 3rd baby in the family.

You are already great at moving your head and holding it up.

 You gave us your first smile exactly the day you turned 1 month.

You still have very dark hair and eyes. You make the best cooing noises.

 You are loved by your brother and sister- they kiss you all day long.

You have rolled from your tummy to your back at least 6 times! A 4 month skill according to the doctor.

 You love being held and cuddled. You do not like having your diaper changed and you cry loudly to let us know.

 You think your 2am feeding is social time. It is not. Please sleep my precious boy.

You have cute baby fists. Something to remember for when you stop doing this all the time.

 Baby feet are just too cute.

You love to nurse and have caught up for time lost when you were born. Even though I am so tired, I still stare at you in the middle of the night because I can't believe you are mine and I am so lucky to be your mommy.
