Twins

We are getting adjusted to home life with four. Our children are such a gift. I look back at pictures of Rigel and see just how similar the look.

The Most Beautiful Thing I Have Seen

We brought Ohana home today, The morning started warm but it was snowing by the time we left the hospital. Ohana slept the whole drive home. When we got here we had a couple of visitors, (Thanks for the coffee Ally) then Rigel came home. We had some great family time.

I got to witness one of the most amazing things from my son and wife. Rigel wanted to hold Ohana again and had her on his lap. He was laughing every time Ohana hiccuped which went on for about 5 minutes. Dena walked up and started watching, Rigel started kissing Ohana on the nose. Then after a big kiss he told Ohana "I Wuv woo" (I Love You) I looked at my bride and watched the tears start to flow freely.

The are many great things in this world but few rival the love of a child and the love of a mother. I got to witness both in one second. Life is good!

More Ohana

Everybody is still great, we have had some fun visitors. Grams and Grumps, Uncle Denis, Brother Rigel, Brett Kristy and Marin, Brian and Elise, John Hague.

Rigel wanted to hold Ohana and did not want to let her go! We'll see if he still feels that way tomorrow when she comes home for good.

No baby, new dog?

One day past due date for Ohana and your guess is as good as ours when she is coming. It looks like a new dog but it is just the hair I brushed off Timber and Piper.

Still bakin'

Well I'm due in 2 days. I feel good minus some sleep at night. So what do I do with the time? I'm trying to rest some, but it's not in my nature to do nothing. Tutus have been on the agenda. I finished my third tutu for a friend's daughter about to turn 5 on Monday... who knows, it could be Ohana's birthday too if that's what she decides. I would love to see this tutu making become a side business since every little girl should be made her own tutu... and I'd love to be the one to make it and see the joy of each princess in her very own tutu!
