Eleven on eleven and it's been a while...

Trying to get back into the swing of things as we are in the last few boxes of unpacking...

not my favorite thing to do.

Not sure if I will do ten on ten each month, but this mostly beach edition is overdue.

This is the nearest beach to our house... a fabulous 2.83 miles down the street... we hope to make this a very good habit... the kids LOVE it!

This riding of a two wheel bike happened 2 days ago... if you ever wondered if those strider balance bikes work, here's the proof after less than a hour of help from his dad, he was off!

Now Ohana is the proud rider of that strider bike...

Almost Famous...

This is mostly a catching up post... summer time makes it extra difficult to do anything extra than watching 3 kiddos full time everyday.

So we were chosen to do a photo shoot for Ergo baby carriers... it was fun and we got a very nice FREE Ergo for our time along with some photos... 

Then this same photographer asked he she could use our adorable son for a cake smash session... again with FREE photos for our time...

Finally he needed his baby but shot to complete my wall...

Honestly I don't know what I'd do if it wasn't for friends who take photos, winning photos, earning free photo books and things like this... 

I guess my walls would be bare and all my pictures would not look so great.

At 13 months Canaan you have found the joy of playing with pots and pans.

You have got great rhythm and dance while you eat.

You move around, but you do not crawl or walk...

You have a special way of communicating through noises and gestures... you are learning more signs.

You know where your head is!

You can say, dada, doggie, zoom, hi and your version of peek a boo... not mama...

You got your 2 front teeth!

You are SUPER cuddly which is so special to the people you let hold you... you do not easily go to just any one and you especially do not love the nursery at church.

Canaan is 1 and got a pony party!

My sweet, handsome, smart, cuddly and precious baby boy turned ONE!!!

Does this mean he is not a baby anymore?

Always mommy's baby right? Yes.

I felt like the coolest mommy around giving you the dream party of many kids!

Here is how it all went down..

Farm snacks including chicken feed, hay stacks, a berry patch and the watering hole.

 Birthday banner bandana bunting with monthly baby photos.

 The pony!!! There were two!

 Thumper the giant bunny.

 Two baby goats that were 3 months old.

 Sheep.

 All around star birthday boy!

 All the grandparents!

 Too cute cake.

 He dug a tunnel in the back of his cake.

We are SO in love with you and so proud of the young little man you are about to become.

You scoot around on your tummy and your bottom. Still no crawling.

You are developing your own sounds and "words".

You clap and dance to music.

For a surprise third baby... you are more precious than any mommy could ask for!!!

Canaan is 11 months!

Canaan you finally scoot!

It took hard wood floors, but you scooted backwards while sitting.

Are you going to scoot instead of crawl like Rigel did?

I guess we need hard wood floors in our house.

You are trying to move more but I guess carpet is not your referred surface.

You love riding in the the stroller.

You are still so good natured and sweet.

You are repeating sounds quite a bit.

You eat like a champ and sleep well too.

You seem to like being in the bigger carseat rear facing now.

For some reason, you cry more when other females hold you and like it when males hold you.

You had your first ear infection and a sinus infection, no fun.

Still only two teeth!

Excited for your FIRST birthday and sad it will be the last FIRST birthday around here. 

Can you stay mommy's baby a little longer? Thanks my handsome boy!

Canaan is 10 months!

We are having such fun with you.

You have mastered the sippy cup and it entertains you when you are fussy.

You can now sign "more" and you continue to eat SO well.

You are still not crawling and we should work on that.

You like riding in the stroller and backpack, but being carried by mommy is your favorite.

I want to remember how you meticulously pick up your peas.
